Hassan Shamaizadeh (Persian: حسن شماعی‌زاده, also Romanized as Hasan-é Šamâ'izâde; born in Isfahan) is an Iranian pop singer, songwriter and saxophonist. Over the past three decades, he composed songs for artists like Googoosh, Dariush, Moein, Ebi, Aref, Homeyra, Farhad and others.

At the age of 13, Shamaizadeh already played in a theater orchestra isfahan. He then played in the Radio programs and Television in Tehran. He is noted for playing Persian music with quarter tones on the saxophone, which is a rare skill.

He was one of the first members of the popular Persian band Black Cats and played the saxophone for them.

Pooneh Alizadeh (Mehrbanoo) is the award-winning artistic director of the Academy of Middle Eastern Dance, AMED Dance Academy.

She established the academy in North Vancouver in 2004 , and it continues to be a leading school of Middle Eastern dance in the Vancouver area and beyond.

She brought with her a persuasive leadership and dedication to Middle Eastern folk and classical dance forms from her cultural heritage. Her strong academic background in Middle Eastern, Folklore, and Ballet, Creates a colourful Middle Eastern fusion repertoire. Combining authentic feeling with a modern flair includes a master’s degree in Art from Tehran University.

DJ Shahram, known as one of the best DJs in Vancouver, will add to the excitement of the festival with his wonderful selection of beautiful Iranian music and mastery of DJ controller and mixer techniques. He will provide a fun and exciting evening for Yalda Night Festival guests and will be alongside the Iranian Info Centre Society team.

On Tirgan Day, the Laughter Yoga Club of Vancouver will grace the stage with an enchanting program to captivate and delight the audience.

Stand Up comedy artist

Omid  Zibandeh is an actor,  writer, producer and director. Iranian Comedian interior designer, Advertising & marketing company owner, Omid Zibandeh is also a published author, having penned novels such as "Understanding and Understanding" and "Hallucination in Reality."

Additionally, he holds a specialized degree in Acting from the prestigious Jam-e-Jam Institute of Iran.

Mazyar Asadi is an Iranian photographer who resides in Canada and specializes in photojournalism.

He has received more than 40 awards and trophies from contests including a gold medal in Canada, silver medal in Canada (2015), silver medal in Turkey, and bronze medals in Spain and Turkey. He was awarded ribbons and honorable mention awards from Canada, Romania, UK (2014),and Iran.

Asadi was born in Tehran, Iran. His first work was with major news agencies, websites, and newspapers from 2010. In 2017, he graduated with a BA degree in photojournalism at Tehran News University, in addition to his diploma and Skill Trade Certificates from Iran's Technical and Vocational Training Organization in 2012
